From 1999 through 2008, Jack was GM of CHN Metal Finishing, where he led the integration of separate CHN facilities into a purpose-built new metal finishing line in Woonsocket. Jack also led CHN in its merger with Duralectra in 2008. Jack brings extensive operations and marketing experience, having entered the metal finishing industry in 1976.
Mike is the Director of Engineering at DCHN on his second tour of duty. Previously Mike has worked as a Engineering Manager at Flextronics, and as a Product Engineer at Oxford Instruments and Waters Corporation, and Millipore. Mike holds an MS and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Chicago. An innovative researcher, Mike is a named inventor on a number of US and foreign patents, including most recently those related to MICRALOX®.
CEO of Katahdin and President of DCHN. Prior to his involvement with Katahdin, Tim spent 14 years in the chemical industry running two specialty chemical subsidiaries of Cabot Corporation with combined revenue of $85 million. Tim ran and repositioned two subsidiaries, allowing them to grow three times faster than the overall market through the commercialization of incremental and new product technology platforms, expansion in higher growth AP markets, manufacturing cost reductions for older products, reduced SG&A costs, enhanced price management and introduction of long-term supply agreements. Tim is on the board of directors of Southworth International, a $45 million manufacturer of machine handling equipment, based in Falmouth, Maine and Community Resources for Justice, a $30 million Boston-based nonprofit providing services and policy development for the developmentally challenged, at-risk youth and criminal offenders. He received a BA from Columbia University in 1989.
